A Simple Supper
“Not every meal needs to be grand; sometimes, comfort looks like melted cheese and a warm bowl of soup.”

As the days grow shorter and the lists longer, dinner can feel like one more task on the table. So today’s Blogmas share is a gentle reminder to keep it simple.

A grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup, that’s all. Crispy, golden bread; gooey cheese that stretches just so; and a bowl of warm, bright soup on the side. It’s the kind of meal that fills more than your stomach, it softens the edges of a busy day.

Light a candle, pull out your favorite mug or bowl, and call it good. Maybe sprinkle a little basil on top, or add a slice of apple to your sandwich if you’re feeling fancy, but there’s no need for more.

Because sometimes the best part of the holidays isn’t the feast, but the quiet, simple meals that remind us to slow down and savor. 🥣🕯️🧀
