With 2021 less than two weeks away, how about we get things started now so we can slide right into the new year fresh and ready to spin.
Let’s begin with some cleaning of our spinning wheel(s) and/or spindle(s).
After a good cleaning, make sure to oil, oil, oil those spinning wheel bits and pieces.
If you have multiple wheels or spindles, just do a few at a time to keep motivated. It can get daunting to tackle it all at once.
The #spin15aday2021 plan is to dig into what we have on hand and not just for our spinning/making supplies, but also other items we have around the house.
You can find loads of homemade wood cleaning recipes on Pinterest. Here’s one I made that can be stored in a jar or in a spray bottle.
6 Tblsp vinegar
2 Tblsp olive oil
Optional: 5 drops of essential oil (I used Tea Tree oil for this batch).
Shake well before use.
Apply to wood and clean, clean, clean.
