The 13 Days of Spooky Stitches

Something Wicked This Way Knits!

The days are getting shorter, the evenings are getting darker, and there just might be something spooky lurking in the yarn basket…

This October, The 1764 Shepherdess is celebrating Halloween with 13 Days of Spooky Stitches!

Beginning October 19 and running through Halloween, October 31, I’ll be sharing a new post every single day featuring a fun, spooky, quirky, or downright adorable make that I’ve discovered and think you might enjoy.

Think pumpkins, ghosts, black cats, witches, bats, creepy-crawlies and perhaps a sheep or two who have wandered a little too close to the haunted barn.

Some projects may be quick little makes you can finish in an evening. Others might inspire something a little more ambitious. And, knowing me, there’s a very good chance yarn, wool and fiber will find their way into the festivities.

The idea is simple: 13 days. 13 posts. 13 spooky makes.

And the best part?

It’s completely FREE!

There’s nothing to purchase and no special membership required. You simply need to be a subscriber to The 1764 Shepherdess blog.

Each day from October 19 through October 31, I’ll share another Spooky Stitches post with a project I’ve found for you, along with a little inspiration for making it your own.

You can make along with me, save your favorites for later, raid your stash for supplies, or simply stop by each day to see what spooky little creation has appeared.

Because really, do we need an excuse to start another project?

Probably not.

But Halloween seems like a perfectly good one.
