Small Makes: Needle Book Sewing Tutorial

Happy Sunday, Makers!

As I go through Sunday chores during the day, I also set aside time for small making projects.

A little spinning as I joined in the monthly Q&A with The Crewel Work Company, along with a few small stitching projects ready to relax with by the warm, cozy fire (35 degrees outside as I write), and I finished the Cozy Cat stitching (pattern from Clever Poppy) that I started yesterday evening.

Using up the #stashdive2025 has been quite a task for me this month, with spinning, knitting, stitching, and sewing.

I’m beginning to collect fabric scraps from the fabric pieces I use to finish my stitching projects.

If you have scraps of fabric you’re looking to use up, make a few needle books for yourself and a friend or two as gifts, like for birthdays or holidays.

Ameroonie Designs put out a YouTube tutorial on her take on a needle book or try the tutorial by With My Hand Dreams.

There are many tutorials to either follow step by step or create your own. Using up those scraps is a good idea.

Have a wonderful week of making!
