Sharing another cross stitch design I created and stitched.
A free cross-stitch pattern chart for you to create for the upcoming Fourth of July.
The stitch count is 99w x 115h. The sample was stitched on 20 count Aida linen with a single thread. Of course, any size of stitching fabric will work; use what you prefer.
I created the pattern PDF as a five-page design, making the chart larger and the top and side numbers easier to read on the old eyes, at least on mine. I use a pencil to mark off my completed sections so I don’t get too lost.
As part of my #100daysofstashdive, I used a small wooden box (a Texas map picture is hiding behind that finish) I found at the charity shop last month for $1, along with some sticky board that I’ve had forever. The package price tag said $1.49, and I stash dived for the 1880s reproduction fabric I love. I laced all the back pieces because I don’t use hot glue often; I’m a hot mess when I use it (pun intended).
This is also another piece I am tagging for #crossstitchcamp led by Sheri, Colorado Cross Stitcher over on Instagram.

Happy stitching!
