Spin to Knit Mystery Along – February 2023

February 2023 will bring us a mystery along that will chase the winter blues away.

You have until January 31 to pick about 200 grams of fiber to spin from your stash. You can spread out February with fiber prep, spinning the singles and creating the soft 2-ply the first half of the month and the second half of the month knitting a simple pattern which will end up being a cowl/wrap sort of garment.

Can’t spoil it all yet. The pattern will be a loosely written one that you will need to create a worsted weight yarn with an approx. 9 wpi and the gauge will knit around 4 sts/inch.

Do you trust me to lead you along for something fun? Then go dig out some fun colors for yourself. It can be natural or tonal or solids or variegated color barf, this simple knit will work for all.
