In some places fall is no where near and in others, like the PNW, it’s just around the corner!
I’m throwing you a challenge. Yes, YOU!
Mission Impossible?
Nope.
Here’s what you need to do:
•Go grab about 3 oz of fiber to spin up into a worsted weight yarn (about 75 yards) during the month of September and then:
•Use the fantastic yarn you made to knit up a pair of 75-yard Mmmalabrigo Fingerless Mitts, (Note: added Simple Crochet Handwarmers by Jennifer Edwards; needs about 180 yards so you maybe need to stash dive for about 4 – 5 oz of fiber to spin) completed by:
•September 30, 2019. You have 3 1/2 weeks to take on this challenge. It’s doable, trust me, as I know some of you could knock it out in a weekend. So, what do you get:
•A pair of handspun, handknit fingerless mitts to throw into the pockets of your favorite fall coat or:
•You can wrap them up all pretty like and gift to a friend during the holidays (paired with a book and chocolate, you just can’t go wrong with a gift like this).
•So, are you still with me? If you complete this challenge by September 30, 2019, create a post on Instagram showing the beginning fiber, the yarn and then the finished mitts (either in a single layout photo post or several pics to slide through on one post), I’ll throw your name into a drawing for a braid of fall colorways dyed fiber. Use #spin15adayseptember on your post.
•You win either way!
•Head over to my post of this challenge on Instagram and let us know if you accept this challenge![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
